Nope, haven't forgotten about this useless endeavor
Another night, another Lambo:
Here's one you don't see often, the Ford GT:
Next week is NBA All-Star weekend. I don't think Orlando is ready for the insanity that is about to hit but I will be taking pictures of it from a downtown perspective. They're expecting roughly 80-100 thousand folks. Whee!

UPDATE!
of fail.
Just realized that I haven't posted anything this year. I know you 0.023 readers are drooling with anticipation of my next post but I promise you: This isn't it.
Lame year so far.

Oh, what a night
Not late December though... Anyway, these shots are horrible for the most part. Maybe I should start carrying a real camera with me. Or maybe not. *shrug*
First up Friday evening (Magic vs Lakers a block away) was this white on black beauty. Weighing in at $379K and being one of only a handful'ish currently state-side the Lamborghini Aventador is certainly pretty. No one knew the guy driving it, still had temp tags. He wanted to park himself and threw us a $100 bill. Sure, fine, we'll take it.
[edit] In the 2nd, 3rd and 5th pic you can see the parking meter which should provide some approximation as to the actual height of this thing. Sorry the engine shot is so lame.
Next up Mr. Jameer Nelson rolled in with his previously seen Ferrari. Jameer was followed by his teammate, Jason Richardson in the same, but not quite the same, Ferrari. White on black is in this year kids.
I forgot to snap a shot of the firetrucks or the horse riding officers as they all passed us. One of the more interesting nights car-wise since I've been working here.

Speaking of Lambos
Here's a GTR! I've only been inside a handful of these and I've never "driven" one. 1st and reverse is all I've experienced. Looks hot. Sounds hot. Supposed to be hot. Betting it would be fun to actually drive.
Always wanted to know
Have you ever sat there and thought to yourself "I wonder what a 4-door Honda Civic with Lambo doors would look like." Well, it's your lucky day folks:
Yep, something like that. Also relevant:
Heh, another Civic. There's also a guy in a 2000s body style mustang vert top that has those silly doors. Silly humans.

Of Maybach's and things
Mr. Dwight Howard (Magic player) graced us with his presence the other evening. He was riding in his Maybach 62s and someone else was driving his Panamera Turbo. Dwight's actually a very friendly guy and definitely one of my favorite celeb's that I've had the chance to meet. I didn't snap any photos of his Panamera due to my previously mentioned dislike of them but here's the Maybe:
Brand spanking new too, temp tags had 17 days left on them. Not being a fan of these over-sized luxury cars I was kinda meh towards it. $400K, orly?
Mercedes makes nice vehicles though. Always a staple of their S class, the 500 series(550 pic'd):
Then an M3 rolled in:
And to top off the night a silly, imo, Camaro that someone has spent more in after-market design than the car was likely worth new. The entire interior is re-done as well. It doesn't look horrible I guess but I'd never do it.
